Through the years, here are some of the friends that Buffy gains, and loses:
Willow: A computer nerd, eventually Wiccan, and recently gay. She lasts from the very first episode, to the very last.
Yay for Will!
Xander: An average joe guy, who falls for Buffy the minute he sees her, making him weak-kneed and jelly-legged when he's
around her. Of course, he has gfs and flings, mainly with demons. After high school he has a difficult time getting on his
feet financially, but eventually settles in as a carpenter, which works out well because a lot of furninture and windows get
broken. He's there the whole seven seasons.
Rupert Giles: Giles is Buffy's Watcher. He trains her, records her feats, and washes his glasses alot. On the first episode,
and the last, his famous quote was "The world is doomed", his response to partying on the Hellmouth. He's in the
WHOLE series.
Cordelia Chase: From Season 1 to Season 3 she is the only human person that Xander dates...if you can call making out
in closests a date. She is overall the popular bitch queen of Sunnydale high. But she is redeemed in fans eyes when she crosses
over to Angel(T.V Show) and evolves into a caring, sensitive person.
Oz: Daniel Osbourne, but few people know that. He is Willow's boyfriend in the 2nd, 3rd and part of the 4th season. He's
also a werewolf. But the Scooby Gang found a way to control that, except that it gets harder in College. After killing a fellow
werewolf, he hightails it to Tibet to control the wolf in him. But, when he returns, he finds Willow in the arms of a new
lover...a female lover, Tara. And he also discovers that Willow is the only one that releases the wolf in him, he can't control
himself around her. So he leaves.
Angel: Buffy's vampire lover. He's in the show from Season 1 to Season 3, then goes to L.A to start his own show, ANGEL.
